In The Box

In the box you’ll find Roses, Matthiolas, Doria Spray Mums, Alstroemeria, and Baby Blue Eucalyptus

In The Vase

Our flowers will be laid out head to tail, carefully remove your stems from the tissue paper and trim ¼ of an inch of the bottom of each stem as you begin arranging them in your vase. Remember to add one pack of flower food to your water!

In Bloom

We can’t wait for you to see this week’s bouquet! We recommend starting with your roses around the outside of your vase. Next fill in the middle with your spray mums and alstroemeria. Stand your matthiolas up tall in the middle of the bouquet, leaving them a big taller. Lastly, dot your fragrant eucalyptus throughout!

Bouquet Stems

Roses

Eurosa roses are back this week in an assortment of colours. We can never get enough of these gorgeous stems and are always blown away by the quality of our local roses!

Doria Spray Mums

This week is all about texture so we had to use these Doria mums from Quik’s Farm! They’re really long lasting, just make sure you keep your water fresh and use that flower food.

Baby Blue Eucalyptus

One of our favourite greens is the perfect finishing touch to this week’s bouquet. We love tying these stems together once the bouquet is finished and hanging them in the shower for a spa vibe!

Matthiolas

also known as Stocks, these beautiful fragrant flowers make up the centrepiece of this week's bouquet. They come in an assortment of beautiful colours so our florists have paired them with complimentary rose colours to make each bouquet unique this week. These gorgeous flowers are grown at Ravanek Greenhouse in Chilliwack and we simply can’t get enough of them.

Alstroemeria

These little blooms take a minute to open up but once they do they’ll add a beautiful pop of colour to this week’s bouquet. These are sourced from a few different local farms this week, including Quik’s Farm, Eurosa Farms, and Deejay Farms.

Tips and Tricks

When your flowers arrive they may look a little tired, but fear not, they will perk right up once they have some water!

Cut all of your stems at a 45 degree angle and trim off the leaves below the water line.

Be sure to add your flower food, it makes a world of difference!

After 3-4 days, recut your stems, change the water and add the second pack of flower food.

Some of your flowers may last longer than others, freshen up the arrangement by pruning the spent stems.
