KEATS

Roses, Lisianthus, Spray Mums, Veronica and Sedum

What to Expect

Please give a warm welcome to The Keats! She's a beautiful assortment of Roses, Lisianthus, Spray Mums, Veronica, and Sedum.

In the Box

Our flowers will be laid out head to tail, carefully remove your stems from the box and trim at least ¼ of an inch off the bottom of each stem to help rehydrate them. Your blooms may look a little sad, but they will perk right up once they are put in water.

In the Vase

Our flowers will be laid out head to tail, carefully remove your stems from the box and trim at least ¼ of an inch off the bottom of each stem to help rehydrate them. Your blooms may look a little sad, but they will perk right up once they are put in water.

In Bloom

This pastel assortment is one of our favourites. Make sure you keep the water clean and plentiful throughout the week to make your flowers last as long as possible. Your roses will need a few days to open up so just sit back, relax, and watch the blooming happen!

Bouquet Stems

Roses

The star of this show are these local roses from Eurosa Farm! They are shipped with their guard petals on which can be plucked off to create a cleaner look or left on to keep things more rustic! They love clean water so make sure to keep an eye on your vase.

Spray Mums

These cute little button mums are back to add the texture to this bouquet. They love flower food and their leaves often need additional trimming once the bouquet arrives.

Sedum

We’re very glad to welcome back Smit Farm’s beautiful sedum! We love that these interesting stems have a succulent vibe.

Lisianthus

Welcome back lisianthus! We love these delicate stems and the vibrant pop of colour it brings to this week’s bouquet. We’re so pleased that Quik Farms has added these fun stems to their greenhouses!

Veronica

Thanks Smit Farms for these happy little blooms. We love adding them in for texture and height. Be sure to play around with them!

Tips and Tricks

When your flowers arrive they may look a little tired, but fear not, they will perk right up once they have some water!

Cut all of your stems at a 45 degree angle and trim off the leaves below the water line.

Be sure to add your flower food, it makes a world of difference!

After 3-4 days, recut your stems, change the water and add the second pack of flower food.

Some of your flowers may last longer than others, freshen up the arrangement by pruning the spent stems.
