In Bloom

We can’t wait for you to see this week’s bouquet! Let this bouquet see you through this rainy July week. The whole bouquet will need a few days to open once it arrive.

Bouquet Stems

Sunflowers

Welcome back sunflowers! These happy stems are our lead florists favourite. They come very tightly closed from Quik Farms in Chilliwack so give them a few days to open up. Insider trick: If their heads get droopy try cutting them and giving them a thirty second shot of boiling water.

Alstroemeria

One of our favourite long lasting blooms is back this week for the finishing touch! These pretty pops of colour really pull this week’s bouquet together, thanks Quik Farms!

Roses

Thanks Eurosa for the gorgeous blooms! We’ve got roses in all different colours this week so prepare for a little surprise.

Solidago

Welcome back to our favourite fluffy stem! Thanks Smit Farms for these fun flowers. Give them a few days to pop open and then they’ll shine all week.

Tips and Tricks

When your flowers arrive they may look a little tired, but fear not, they will perk right up once they have some water!

Cut all of your stems at a 45 degree angle and trim off the leaves below the water line.

Be sure to add your flower food, it makes a world of difference!

After 3-4 days, recut your stems, change the water and add the second pack of flower food.

Some of your flowers may last longer than others, freshen up the arrangement by pruning the spent stems.
